Bullhouse Chapel stands in the grounds of Bullhouse Hall (pg 130).
Water Hall
A Grade II listed building, the hall can be found on Water Hall Lane (pg 154).
Penistone Grammar School
Until 1893 the Grammar School was on the site of what was more recently the HSBC Bank and JB Antiques (pg191).
The New Grammar School
In 1893 PGS move to what is now refered to as Weirfield. Originally a doctor’s residence, it was the main school building until new premises were built in 1911 (pg 201)

Market Place
The old Grammar school can be seen on the left facinf the church. All the buildings on the left were demolished and replaced by the ones that are standing today (pg 298).
Broomhead Hall
The hall, in Bolsterstone, was demolished in 1976 (pg 369).
Bullhouse Hall
Built in 1655, the property still stands and is privately owned (pg 381).
Netherfield Congregational Church
The church is now converted into private apartments (pg 525).
